CHRISTMAS PARTY SUNDAY DECEMBER l4~ AT THE HOME OF LION DELORES BATLEY. THE PARTY WILL BEGIN AT 5:00 P.M. THE PRIME RIB WILL BE FURNISHED AND PREPARED BY THE BRUMMELS. PLEASE BRING A SALAD, POTATO DISH, SNACK OR DESSERT AND A CHRISTMAS GIFT WITH NO SOCIALLY REDEM1NG QUALITIES. IT IS ALSO BYOB. SEE YOU THERE

GOLF TOURNAMENT SEPTEMBER 28~. Lion Ron reported we made $1600.00 on this project. We were a little short of cooks but everything else ran smoothly. Thanks to Lions Mike Morris and Pat Schults for being the chairman. Lion Mike wanted to thank all of the Lions who worked on the tournament

GOLDEN EAR DAYS OCTOBER 4TH We took in donations in the amount $102.29.The membership voted to add additional funds and we send $200.00 to the Lions Hearing Foundation. Thanks to Lion Jeff for being chairman and to the members who worked in the rain.

HIGHWAY CLEANUP OCTOBER 11TH• Thanks Lion Larry for being chairman and to Lions Steve and Marlynn for helping Lion Larry.

TEACHER’S APPRECIATION DINNER OCTOBER 29TH at the Elks Lodge. Lions Ron and Linda were the chairmen. Lion Ron reported it was very successful. Ninety were served salad: barbequed ribs, baked beans, garlic bread and various desserts. It was also reported the food was delicious. Thanks everyone.

WELCOME NEW MEMBER CHRISSY DOYLE. Lion Chrissy was sponsored by Lion George. She was installed by Lion Keith at the November 6th meeting. Lion Chrissy has already started working for the club at the Teacher’s Appreciation Dinner.

HOLIDAY NUTS have arrived and were packaged at the Raymond Cafeteria on November 12th~ Lion Marlynn reported that there are extra nuts. If anyone needs more nuts please contact Lion Marlynn.

ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS Lion John reports they are selling well. They are $20.00 each. They would make great Christmas gifts along with our cook books and the holiday nuts.

PROGRAM At the October 4th meeting Rebecca Watson gave a very interesting program on the Raymond Theater .

SAD NEWS if dues are not paid by November 30th you will be stricken from the Lions Roster.

NEW SCHOLARSHIP FUND We need a name for this scholarship. This scholarship will be for juniors and seniors in college. Any ideas?
