THIS THEATER WAS BUILT IN 1927 AND OPENED IN 1928
Much of the interior is original, stage, curtains, some seats,carpets, wiring, chandeliers, etc. The December storm of 2007 did additional damage to the roof and that led to more water leaks. Consequently, more of the ceiling was damaged.
We are working to restore as much of the interior as we can and still maintain its original motif. With the help of volunteers we will refurbish as much as we can. The wiring will be upgraded, the curtains fireproofed, and the roof patched. There is still much to do but as you can see from the photos on this page work is underway.
