This sixty nine voice chorale's membership will be performing about ninety percent of this concert in Russian languages. Most of these folks are originally from the Moscow vicinity and so received their primary musical education there but have received their advanced musical education from musical institutions located in many different cities and countries. Mr. Pavel Lvutin, Artistic Director received his musical education from The City of Kursk, Musical University in Russia. It is a great honor to have them on our stage. Both secular & religious works will be performed. It is a moving experience to hear them sing church music such as The Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah in Russian a cappella. Natalia Colson, our own Elma Theater piano accompanist originally from St. Petersburg, Russia now living here in McCleary, Washington State USA along with Oleg Lisitsyn of the Russian Chorus may act as interpreters.
